There are no little secrets

Match Point tells a story about luck. At the beginning of the movie, Chris's voice talks about a moment in tennis, "There are moments in a match when the ball hits the top of the net and for a split second it can either go forward or fall back. With a little luck it goes forward and you win. Or maybe it doesn't and you lose."

The main plot of Match Point is this. The story is about a young tennis pro (Chris) who is the coach of a rich young boy named Tom. Tom's sister fell in love with Chris and they began dating, but after Chris met Tom's girlfriend, Nola, he tries to begin a hidden relationship with her. Nola and Tom's breaking up makes it easier for Chris but after sometime Nola wants him to leave his wife (Tom's sister). Nola's pregnancy makes it more difficult for Chris, who prefers to stay with Tom's family because of money.

I don't want to tell all story, you should see it yourself. But the luck's role is Chris's life is so important. In fact Woody Allen, as the writer and director, wants to say that a lot of things in our life depend on luck. It can make you a winner or loser simply.
Also there is an important dialogue at the ending moments of the movie, when Nola is killed and Chris's wife is reading the article on this in daily, she says that Nola was in a wrong place in a wrong moment.

I don't believe in luck as much as Woody Allen, but I like the movie. Specially as a fan of Scarlett Johansson, I recommend you to watch it. Also the story happens in London, my city of dreams! Don't miss it!
