Golshifteh Farahani's new life

Golshifteh Farahanis' appearance on 'Body of Lies' has been the hottest topic of Persian cyberspace. Last year, I heard she's gone to Hollywood to play a role in a movie with Leonardo DiCaprio, but it remained confidential and nobody spoke officially on this. Just journalists was aware of this. But last month, the movie's data was completed on IMDB and Golshifteh's name was added to the cast. Since then it's been the most important topic of our cultural space... Golshifteh has talked more on this in her latest interview.

But now, she has appeared at the movie's premiere without hijab and this has made sort of crisis for some people! In my opinion it's her own decision to have hijab or not, which is not illegal outside of Iran, but I guess she won't be allowed to play in an Iranian movie in coming years. Golshifteh has made her decision to continue acting outside of Iran and I'm so happy for her. She's so talented and can be the first Iranian super-star in Hollywood.

P.S. The only thing that concerns me is the fate of Golshifteh's last movie in Iran, a movie named "About Elli..." by Asghar Farhadi. Maybe it changes everything and the movie never gets the permission to be released. I hope it never happens.

P.S. +2 'The Fish fall in Love' is one of my favorite Iranian movies which I had reviewed 3 years ago. Golshifteh played a supporting role in the movie.
