Unknown film editors!

Some days ago Iranian TV showed L.A. Confidential; a memorable movie starring Kevin Spacy, Russel Crowe, Guy Pearce and Kim Basinger about the gangsters and assassins in L.A. and Hollywood. You know, in Iran the foreign movies are censored and some scenes (specially the scenes including sex and romantic relationship) of movies are not be found in the Iranian copy. In fact the Iranian censor-men edit these films again!
So in the Iranian version of L.A. Confidential you won't find any Kim Basinger and any relationship between Crowe and her! This is so funny if you hear that Basinger won the best actress Oscar for this film (1997)! Curtis Hanson (director) will be pleased to watch his new film!

Also last year, this happened to Gangs of NY (by M.Scorsese) and the Iranian version was one hour less than the original and the film changed to a movie without Cameron Diaz!

P.S. I would suggest you to watch L.A. Confidential if you haven't yet. This was a shining and successful movie in the 90s.

I recall, despite all the brutal manipulations and inane sanitizations, LA Confidential was still a masterpiece with a profound impact...

Do you watch the mullahs TV to criticize? I do think all the tv/radio signals they broadcast are not even worth taking a brief look and viewing/receiving them is the ideal choice for everybody who wants to waste his/her precious time.

hey, stop dilly-dallying!
